Helping Charities - Youth Business International

Youth Business International supports young people looking to start or grow a business by delivering a range of entrepreneurship support services. This ranges from training and mentoring to access to finance and other business development services. They required a website to facilitate these services for young entrepreneurs, showcase their partners and celebrate the work of their members. YBI wanted a streamlined experience for everyone they work with. This includes strengthening communities by using data-driven digital infrastructure and building up targeted communications and intelligent user journeys.

We designed and built YBI a solution which is rewarding for all stakeholders involved. From championing members from around the world to showcasing projects and their impact on young entrepreneurs. Building YBI up as a thought leader on entrepreneurialism through sharing resources, best practice and knowledge.

The existing brand was limited and required development before launching the new site. We developed the brand to support the strategic aims of the organisation and encourage new organisations to partner with YBI.

Celebrating global entrepreneurial success

It was important to showcase the impact of these underserves young people and the effect they have within their wider communities.

We celebrate the success of these young people in the form of infographics. The homepage highlights key stats such as ventures started, businesses strengthened and young people trained. As well as statistics, it was important to show the actual young people that YBI works with. Where possible, imagery is used to showcase the successful businesses and communities of these ventures.

Showcasing YBI’s global members

YBI is a global network of expert organisations in over 50 countries. As a result of this, it was important to highlight the reach and locations of these organisations around the world.

There is a feature on the site where you can explore the members, either through an interactive map or in a list view. Therefore, championing and showcasing the expansive reach of YBI and its members around the world.

The map works well on both desktop and mobile, ensuring it can reach users through whichever device they have available to them.

There’s a rustle in the Welsh woods that has been whispered about for generations. They believe it to be Blue. They say it’s not sasquatch, but Stag. All that’s been spotted is the odd antler in the overgrowth or hoofprint on the forest floor.

We’ve taken matters into our own hands and set up a series of cameras to try and locate Seb the Stag for ourselves. Brave visitor, can you help us in our quest to unravel the mystery and marvel at the myth?
