People networking at a Pitch@Palace Event

Brief

Pitch@Palace provides a platform to amplify and accelerate the work of Entrepreneurs. However, the old website did not match their vision as a brand and impacted engagement, applications and effectiveness. They wanted a website to match the calibre of the Pitch@Palace People’s Choice Award microsite we had built for them.

Solution

Continuing the digital brand we had established with the People’s Choice site, we created a visually rich and engaging website powered by customised WordPress elements. Two key features of this site are the log-in section to view the Pitch@Palace Alumni, as well as the flexible event section which aids the team with automation and easily managed event updates.

Creating a website for Pitch@Palace

Following on from our work on the microsite, we applied the same design to the main website. Several elements applied themselves to the main website, including the brand colours. So, with the brand style in place, using customised WordPress elements, we built the site.

There were some key required features of the site, including the log-in section and events. The log-in section allows users to be able to access the alumni section of Pitch@Palace. The alumni section is an archive of all successful entrepreneurs who made it to the boot camp. Not only a good resource but it gives the entrepreneurs status and endorsement. The events section receives updates with each boot camp and tour. With built-in countdown clocks, it provides a real-time update on the status of each event.

“The Blue Stag team combined a strong understanding of the Pitch@Palace brand, mission, and audiences, the practical requirements for our website as a primary engagement tool and real creative flair. The result is a website that reflects the spirit of innovation that underpins Pitch@Palace and provides a truly valuable resource for our Entrepreneurs, Partners and Supporters.”

Putting Entrepreneurs on the map

Pitch@Palace is a global initiative, with events running across the world each year. To showcase their worldwide network of Entrepreneurs, we designed and customised a Mapbox map in line with the Pitch@Palace brand. Explore the Entrepreneurs around the world by zooming in and out of the map, clicking on logo icons and through to Entrepreneur profiles.

There’s a rustle in the Welsh woods that has been whispered about for generations. They believe it to be Blue. They say it’s not sasquatch, but Stag. All that’s been spotted is the odd antler in the overgrowth or hoofprint on the forest floor.

We’ve taken matters into our own hands and set up a series of cameras to try and locate Seb the Stag for ourselves. Brave visitor, can you help us in our quest to unravel the mystery and marvel at the myth?
