Lordie or Zombie wins CSS Site of the Day

One day in the office, we were listening to the radio and on came a political debate in the House of Commons. As the debate went on, we couldn’t help but think how their bizarre and hilarious mumbled “Heeerrrrreee heeerrrrree”s and general rowdiness made them sound like a group of zombies.

As Halloween was approaching, it seemed like the perfect time to create a funny microsite game, where you have to decide chose if the sound clip you hear is Lordie or Zombie noises.

The game has 10 randomised sound clips, and at the end of the quiz, you find out if you know your Lordies from your Zombies… if you don’t, you have a rather grumpy Boris Johnson staring at you from the screen. As well as the game, the microsite has a timeline of key parliamentary dates and looks at some of the bonkers laws that are still in place today.

Within a week, the site generated over 18,000 votes and we are very proud that our spooky-themed Lordie or Zombie site has won CSS Site of the Day for Halloween.

If you want to put your braaiinnss to the test and find out if you can tell the difference between Lordies and Zombies, come and play the game.

There’s a rustle in the Welsh woods that has been whispered about for generations. They believe it to be Blue. They say it’s not sasquatch, but Stag. All that’s been spotted is the odd antler in the overgrowth or hoofprint on the forest floor.

We’ve taken matters into our own hands and set up a series of cameras to try and locate Seb the Stag for ourselves. Brave visitor, can you help us in our quest to unravel the mystery and marvel at the myth?
