We’re on the hunt for a talented Graphic and Motion Designer to join the herd. You’ll mainly design and create content for our wonderful clients’ social media channels.
We’re looking for someone with strong graphic design and video editing skills.
You’ll be bursting with creativity and have a keen eye for detail.
You should have good people skills, a strong work ethic, and a flexible attitude. You’ll be good at sticking to deadlines, happy working independently, and comfortable responding to changing priorities.
Sound like you? Then read on, my creative friend!
You’ll make graphics, videos, gifs and a host of other visual delights – for social media and other channels as required.
As our Graphic and Motion Designer, you’ll work closely with our Content Strategy Manager, Creative Director and Lead Designer to execute creative projects and campaigns.
An important part of our creative team, you’ll be involved right through our creative process – from interpreting briefs and shaping our creative vision, to delivering solutions and responding to feedback.
You’ll attend creative meetings, both internally and with clients, to ask questions and contribute ideas. And, as you develop in the role, you’ll increasingly work directly with clients to deliver ad-hoc creative support.
We’ll ask you to take responsibility for staying on top of deadlines and communicating problems to the wider team so we can solve them together.
In return for all this, we’re offering:
To apply, please send a CV and portfolio (a link is fine) to Dan, our Creative Director, at dan@bluestag.co.uk.
The deadline for applications is 23:59 on 21 July 2023. We’ll get back to you as soon as we can after the closing date.
If you’re successful at this stage, you’ll be invited to attend an interview and complete a short practical design exercise.
Please get in touch with our Creative Director, Dan – dan@bluestag.co.uk.
While we’re happy to offer remote and flexible working, there are likely to be some occasions when you need to come to the office for meetings or collaborative work. For these days, you’ll need to be able to get to our lovely place in Cardiff Bay.
Very occasionally, you may need to travel further afield, and there might be some work outside normal hours. We promise to give as much notice as possible, and we’ll always be considerate of any caring commitments you have.
We believe diversity makes us better at what we do.
We’re an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all suitably qualified people regardless of your age, race, sex, disability, religion, belief, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, or family circumstances.

There’s a rustle in the Welsh woods that has been whispered about for generations. They believe it to be Blue. They say it’s not sasquatch, but Stag. All that’s been spotted is the odd antler in the overgrowth or hoofprint on the forest floor.
We’ve taken matters into our own hands and set up a series of cameras to try and locate Seb the Stag for ourselves. Brave visitor, can you help us in our quest to unravel the mystery and marvel at the myth?
