One day in the office, we were listening to the radio and on came a political debate in the House of Commons. As the debate went on, we couldn’t help but think how their bizarre and hilarious mumbled “Heeerrrrreee heeerrrrree”s and general rowdiness made them sound like a group of zombies.
As halloween was approaching, it seemed like the perfect time to create a funny microsite game, where you have to decide if the sound clip rowdy lordies or noisy zombies. The game has 10 randomised sound clips, and at the end of the quiz, you find out if you know your Lordies from your Zombies... if you don’t, you have a rather grumpy Boris Johnson staring at you from the screen. As well as the game, the microsite has a timeline of key parliamentary dates and looks at some of the bonkers laws that are still in place today.
Within a week, the site generated over 18,000 votes and we are very proud that our spooky themed site has won CSS Site of the Day for Halloween
